Accepted Answer

Anything on the Department for Transport's Street Manager feed or National Highways' incident feed: full closures, lane closures, two-way lights, give-and-take, and works without traffic management.

How often are the roadworks updated?

Accepted Answer

We pull updates every 15 minutes. The town pages themselves are rebuilt twice a day, so the counts and listings are always within a few hours of live.

Can I see roadworks on a specific route, not just a town?

Accepted Answer

Yes — plot a route alert. We will scan every active roadwork in the country and email you only the ones that touch your route.

Why do you only show works within 5 miles of each town?

Accepted Answer

It keeps the page focused on the area people actually drive in and out of. For wider coverage along an entire journey, use a route alert.

Where does the data come from?

Accepted Answer

Local roads come from the UK government's Street Manager service. Motorways and trunk roads come from National Highways. We are not the source of the data, just a faster, cleaner way to see it.
